Violets & Forsythia!

Spring is in my backyard even if it did freeze last night.

Stones River Greenway Biking

I biked 10 miles on the Stones River Greenway yesterday and had a ball! Spring is here as shown by this scene in Two Rivers Park along the greenway. I went as far as Shelby Bottoms this trip and just might go all the way to downtown Nashville next time or the time after that. 

Spring is Trying Again!

The Jonquil was shot in the Woodlands and sprouting flower in a neighbor's yard.

Spring Coming?

The long shadows of a winter snow and the February arrival of Crocus herald the coming of Spring (we hope!).

Dogwoods Blooming!

They are literally all over our campus - beautiful!

At my Maple Tree this morning, but they are all over the yard like a purple meadow!

Also I biked 10 miles on the Stones River Greenway today with many wildflowers everywhere. 

Spring has Sprung!

Beautiful Yard Work Day

Cleaned up and started getting flowerbeds ready but all I planted in the ground were some cheap marigolds. We could still have another freeze! And if we do, I can bring these potted flowers inside from my deck..Getting in the mood for spring and summer.

Weeping Cherry Tree?

I will ask around and correct the name of this tree blooming now in front of our McKendree Healthcare Center Entrance. Rejuvenation of life is all around us now! What a great time of year!
